You may notice changes in a loved one or in yourself. These can be caused by natural progressions of the aging process, illness or injury. Professional help in the home is available and may be covered by your Medicare home care benefit.
The behavioral changes noted below may occur because of a decline in either physical or cognitive ability or a combination of both. They do indicate the need for medical intervention and understanding. When speaking to your doctor, ask about RN, Physical or Occupational Therapist, Medical Social Worker home visits you may benefit from to help restore your regular routine or improve current abilities. If eligible, these services are covered by your Medicare home care benefit.
